Hi all,
I’m Bob-- I hail from the Niagara Region in Ontario. I was re-introduced to Ghostbusters about 4 years ago while in film school (I had seen it when I was younger, just didn’t have the same impact… however I was a big fan of the cartoons).
Since getting burned out by the film making process, I had gotten incredibly interested in building and constructing-- I figure, why not relate it to my education? I stumbled across this site last fall, never figuring I’d be able to make anything that I’d seen people here make, but recently ordered some parts to begin work on a proton wand… while waiting for them to arrive, I figured I’d give the Statue of Liberty controller a shot. I think I just stumbled on to another expensive hobby…
Hopefully I’ll be able to contribute to conversations, even though I’m new to prop building.
