I have a question, what should I make the mother board out of? Something that doesnt cost alot, like wood, but what kind?
Some people use 1/4" plywood. I believe it’s usually Luan plywood, but then, I’m no expert in this matter. The real proton packs used 1/8" aluminum.
I used a nice thick piece of plexi glass I got from the home depot Extremely sturdy. no grain to worry about or anything.worked perfectly.
Pretty sure it was 1/4’’ thick.
Plus during my build it was cool to see the pack with a see through motherboard.
I used 1/4 inch MDF board…works fine and looks great painted (no wood grain to deal with)
