Go to your local hobbie store and look for strips of wood that are 2 1/2 inchs for the spacer. After you have the amount cut get your self a for sale sign and cut that down to match your wood pieces. Then give them a small space between each on of the wood pieces on the stip of sign so you can get the round look at the bottom of the pack since wood is not the easy to bend with out breaking unless you get the right kind of wood. That is how I will be making my spacer mounts for my scratch builds of 3 packs. I will have picks of the spacer up by this weekend hopefully.
its not as hard as you may think. The plans on this site have good steps you can take to get the correct shape and have it the right size. I would suggest you make the top and bottom out of a thick MDF wood or plywood then put wooden blocks between them and use a for sale sign for the side walls.
I made mine from two acrylic pieces cut to size and then stuck one ontop of the another to get the correct depth. I then filled the seam between the pieces, sanded and painted.
I would recommend not putting a bottom on the space, cause you will need to access it if you want to put lights in it. Also, there is a lot of space in there to store batteries.
Cut out the shape on a piece of MDF, cut strips of hardboard (not sure what its called in the US) and bend it round to fit. You will need to make something to fill the top curve because that is too tight a bend. I have made 14+ spacers… And there pretty easy!

Are we talking about the ‘block’ the sits between ‘V’ hook and pack? If so, why would you want to put lights in it?
I believe they’re talking about the spacer between the mother board and the cyclotron.
Ah right, sorry - my misunderstanding
