After sitting thru the pain that was the first hour of them, the episodes that followed seemed dramatically easier; it’s almost like they finally figured out their goal in mind with the cartoon, and made it work.
Would I honestly care if I weren’t a Ghostbusters fan? No; but, for what it’s worth, it’s at least better than I’d initially expected.
What’s even scarier is…I actually think the Junior Ghostbusters work quite well in the Slimer! cartoons. In the RGB cartoon, the kids are just unbareable; it’s…almost as though they were just thrown in there–episodes being hastily rewritten to accomodate them–just for the sake of getting people to notice they existed.
The Slimer! cartoons, again, are silly, and entirely meant to be…and in turn, somehow the Jr. Ghostbusters aren’t really annoying in them.
