How do you put the sound of the pack starting up and firing sequence in a real ghostbusters pack without doing any electronic soldering I’m not an electronics genius. PLEASE HELP :?
i dont think its possible. soldering isnt too difficult, just get some supplies from radio shack and practice soldering. it trust me, it doesnt have to look perfect, just has to do its job.

I’ve seen plenty of people that had no electronics experience use cheap little mp3 players and a set of battery powered speakers. You can download the files from http://www.hprops.com. Then set up the tracks in the order you would use them… power up, fire, power down.
It’s not the best solution, and you’d still have to find somewhere to stash the mp3 player and still be able to get to the play/track buttons. But it’s about the lowest rent solution there is.
They also have cheap 30 second digital voice memo recorders at radio shack… you could maybe use a couple of those?!
One idea is to look at the different types of mp3 players out there. some are so small you could probably hide it in the wand and run the speaker cable to the pack where the speakers are located.
So, when you fire up the wand and hit buttons, you really are starting up the mp3 player.

This is the route I went.
The speaker I used it this one:
its very loud, you’d be suprised. The wires are all going to be hidden within the proton gun’s slpit loom and the mp3 player can be disttached. I also used velcro to attach the speaker only so I could remove it to show screen accuracy.
Where does everyone hide the mp3 players?
