Idea to potentially make a thrower fire a stream effect

Hey guys and gals!

I’m in the process of building my first proton pack (build thread to come later) but I’m kicking around ideas on how to make it unique. I know it might not be possible, but I find myself wondering if some kind of air powered effect (housed in a pack body) combined with the material that sticky hands are made of (just the stem, not the hand obviously) would replicate a not so controlled stream effect? Kind of like the inflatable tube man. I’ve done a bit of research, they are made of this material http://www.diytrade.com/china/pd/6959076/TPE_TPR_Material_for_soft_toy.html, I just wanted to get some feedback from the community, see if anyone has attempted anything like this before? I’m not exactly sure of the aerodynamics of this stuff, and it might be a bad idea past a certain length, but I’m going to experiment with the idea. If anyone else has any ideas on how to build on the idea, please share them! Or if you don’t think it would work, that’s fine too. I envision a spool of the material housed in the pack body, running through the splitless loom to the thrower along with some air tubes that alternate the direction of the air flow? If this doesn’t work, I’ve also been thinking of an concept similar to this (http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/1boAAOSwQItUJO5Y/s-l300.jpg) if I can fit it in a thrower. Anyway thanks for hearing me out!

I’ve thought about this as well.
