Go to IGN and check it out.
MERGED he beat you by one minute looks like lol
Now I’ll go check it out  EDIT: I like his “movie accurate” proton pack haha
looks like a well rounded review considering he’s a big fan. good stuff. plus new videos!
In that review, I noticed the words “4GB install” near the end. This may not seem like much to some on this board, but to a guy with a 20GB PS3 (i.e. ME!!) that’s borderline horrifying…
Wow, wow, wow, hold on a sec here . . . Greg said in his review on IGN that “Although the PS3 has exclusive videos about refurbishing Ecto-1 and the Blu-ray release of the first movie, the graphics . . . .”
The PS3 version has the movie on the disc too!? Why have I not seen any info on this before this review?
Wow, ton;s of new videos including video of Peck. Looks like the changed a lot of the cut scenes though. The mayor lost his top hat and the angles of certain shots look more like cut scenes and less like a movie. All in all I think this will be the best game I ever play. Nothing looks bad to me.
I read it more like
Could be wrong, but I think he means that there are trailers and stuff for the Blu-Ray.
Oh okay, good point. I was all ■■■■■■ for a second because I would have gotten it for the PS3 instead of the xbox360 if it would have had the first movie blu-ray release on the disc as well. I was about to raise some hell! haha.
Seems the reviewer is confused by Vigo being there as well so I guess it doesn’t get explained. We can only assume that the guys kept the painting to study it after they defeated Vigo and the PKE energy wave rekindled the residual negative energy that was likely left in the painting.
I don’t know if you guys in the UK read N4G yet but there is a article when you search for ghostbusters and their saying that the delay for the non play station formats in Europe might get delayed until October 30th thats a long time.
This is old news from May. You can read about it in this thread: Ghostbusters Video Game Release Delayed in Europe - Ghostbusters News - GBFans.com
To be honest, just skip to the last page and read AJ’s last two posts, the rest of it is just people bitching at each other.
why is the review out so ■■■■■■■ early
Agreed. Kind of makes you wonder if he’s ever seen the movie…
Yeah, even my little brother, who likes ghostbusters but isn’t a fanatic like some of us, even made a comment about his pack in the video he interviews Dan Aykroyd. He said something to the extent of “if he’s going to interview Dan Aykroyd, why would he wear such a crappy pack?” I almost died laughing. It wasn’t nice to say about someone else’s pack but it was funny non the less.
Man, it’d be one thing if he made that, but he BOUGHT it. My pack isn’t the greatest in the world, but I made it myself, so if it looks bad, it’s my fault, and I know how to fix it when I’ve got the time and money. Kudos for the GB passion, though, I’ll give that to him.
its a good sign that the reviews are coming out now, if they were not then I would have been worried, gaming outlets usually put out the review of a game after it comes out if it gets bad ratings, which in hindsight means these games are good, for once a good movie game.
Just don’t read the comments because there are a few jackasses trolling them. Trust me, it’s for the best.
Apart from that though, it’s actually a better review than I was expecting, though I’m waiting for Gamespot’s review. Yeah I know, having fans review the game can actually make them more nitpicky about the review, but I’d still like to see a non-fan’s review if the Gamespot review is indeed a non-fan.
8/10 great, but my only question is with these performance issues and voice sync trouble what were the developers doing for the last few months. I know the cutscenes are a thousand times more beautiful looking, but shouldn’t they have been spending the time ironing out the technical problems? For us ghosthead we’d play it if it looked like an 8 bit nes game, but will the wider market put up with it?
Just don’t read the comments because there are a few jackasses trolling them. Trust me, it’s for the best.
Yeah, if you want the blood pressure to rise a bit then by all means read every single one. I love the people pre-judging and complaining about the score being too good for such a “Horrible game”. My friends, Box Office Larry is this years horrible game. Check out some reviews and gameplay video and you’ll see.
There’s also someone who thinks our mental growth is retarded by enjoying all things Ghostbusters and relegates it to a simple childish thing that should be left in our past.
Trolls will be trolls.
Also to the other people leaving comments…yes we get it, you’re waiting for a Prototype review and could care less about Ghostbusters. Drink your glass of whine and cry somewhere else that’s more relevant.
