if this is able to catch the eye of ign’s editors choice then you definitely know that it’s a buy not a rent although that’s just my opinion. what do you guys think?

I’ll be buying. I’ve been following the news on this game ever since zootfly put out that tech demo (that didn’t even become the game we’re waiting on) and my level of excitement has been best described as “brain-melting” ever since then.

Even an average of 8/10 brings a tear to me eye. Hell, even reading the reviews that gave it a 7/10 bring a tear to me eye because even though they say it needs a little polish, they all seem to agree that it’s a great game for Ghostbusters fans.

here’s hopping that dan and the rest of the crew think about doing more ghostbusters video games where this came from.

Is it just me or does the IGN rating say 8.0 and not 8.5?

Yeah if you read the entire review, at the bottom will be IGN UK’s rating which is 8.5

I was confused also.

For some reason IGN’s interface is acting weird and not showing all the ratings on the side bar. If you scroll down to the very end of page 2 of the UK review you’ll see it’s score.

I love this review because it didn’t once talk about the damn plot. Just got right to the point because the writer knew anyone who was going to read it already knew the set up by heart.

I thought it was better then the IGN US review as well, I also found it ironic the Ghostbusters Blu Ray release got a 8/10 from IGN as well

Yup. I’ve read all the professional reviews posted online, and this one is definitely my favorite. Very well written.
