Okay, so I play the game and get pretty far, but the problem is that whenever I turn it off and then plan on playing it again, the menu sometimes doesn’t give the option to resume the career, but rather only start a new one. :sigh: It gets annoying! I mean, I love this game, but I can’t just sit there and play the game all in one sitting haha, nor do I want to just leave my PS3 on while I’m not home. It sucks. At the same time, the game was used at GameStop so that might have something to do with it. And when my game does save and I am able to resume, all the trophies and items that I’ve found on my PKE are not available. Sucks, but oh well. I’m sure I’ll beat the game…eventually. ![]()
Do you quit in the middle of a level? And do you quit by just pushing the power button to your system?
Yeah, I quite in the middle of a level, but I do hit pause before I do so. So, you’d think regardless of what I do it would save from the closest checkpoint. :-? That’s the problem with automatic saving…
I had the same problem a couple times. I wish I could offer advice, but I’d just restart the game and it would usually fix itself. I think I recall other people mentioning the same issue as well, though, so hopefully others may be able to help.
Thanks for the advice! ![]()
Pausing the game and then turning off the console is kinda like pulling the plug from the back.
What should I do instead? I mean, should I quit the game and then turn it off at the main menu?
always do that ecto. it is just better for you game console. i never had this problem with my ps3 so i don’t have any advice as to how to stop it, but you can make your ps3 last longer by quiting the game before turning it off.
checkpoints are not permanent saves in almost all games. They’re only there to help you progress if you die.
Usually the only saves that will remain if you turn the game off mid level are the big saves between levels.
Just hit pause and turn the TV off. That’s what I did before video games had ANY save options ( 1st generation Nintendo)
