I am trying to find the length of the injector tubes. Does anyone know how long they should be?
vincenzo330 has a sticky thread in the proton pack section for making your own aluminim parts. The dimensions are there as measured diectly from a hero pack therefore accurate. There is also the plans in the equipment section which i dont think match vincenzo’s, but may or may not work out better depending on your build and scaling. Id send you links but im using the app on my phone, making it difficult to do so…

They are 171.4mm long acording to Stefans plans.
The Injector tubes on the Sony Lobby Hero Pack are 6.375" long with 0.125" lids welded on.
That’s good information, but I’m puzzled as to where we have those measurements. I may be missing a photo, but I can’t find anything from the Sony lobby with the injector length. The close thing I can find to that is the height of the powercell, which I suppose you can extrapolate.
Probably the easiest thing to do, depending on the shell you have, is to look at it from the front, and compare the relative positioning to the plating or the lower ribbon cable clamp. That way, even if your shell is slightly short/tall/warped, the tubes will look correct when installed.
