It wouldn’t even be much of a build because RJ(dimensional fabrications) did such an incredible job, doesn’t really leave me much room to put anything together haha.
But I will still show what I did along the way. First thing I wanna do is start sanding down the extra metal around the drill holes. I won’t start any real work till next week after this holiday weekend.

For real. That’s a hard decision to make. There’s no turning back once I put fullers earth on it.
Finally received my aluminum thrower last Friday.
These were shots I took right out of the box. However, I have started drilling out holes, also started cleaning up certain areas on the thrower and will post updated pictures sometime later.
I finished most of the work on the gun body, trigger box, and instrument bar.
Drill out the appropriate holes and tapped them.
Tomorrow I will continue finishing these parts and start on the front handle. The screws on the Clippard are not accurate. I’m just using the default screws till I get the slotted fillister screws.
I order brown gun grips from Nick-a-Tron so hopefully those can get here in the next few weeks. Also, have the front cylinder and rear cylinder arriving hopefully tomorrow from jimbo7.

This is probably one of the first guns I have seen that actually countersunk a hat light properly into an aluminum gun! Very nicely done!

Wow, thanks everyone for the compliments. Means a lot. 
So with not much else to do at the moment, I started painting my parts. I painted the heatsink, trigger box/instrument bar, and the front handle. Plus, applied the dry rub transfers on the trigger box. Damn I love those.
Still waiting for cylinders from jimbo7. Also, I was suppose to get the inner tube from umori, but there was a mix up in shipping so until he gets another one made, my front handle will be unattached. Other than that, I attached everything I have because I won’t be doing much work on the gun body till I get the grips, cylinders and knobs. It will be awhile till knobs come so I won’t be concerned about those.

Nice work man! Only, I hate to say this, but your Ribbon cable seems to be in teh wrong way.. The coloures wires should be on the left of the cable, and the white with stripes on right…

I appreciate the compliment. My twist came from Venkmans pack when you see all four Ghostbusters lined up, right before the “Aim for the flat top”.
I had a hard time figuring out which pack to replicate. I used the OMNI pack as reference a lot in position of items so until I perfect that twist of the OMNI pack, I’ll stick to what I have.
For example, my PPD faces straight like on the OMNI pack, and not “angled” or turned like most people do. I also plan on having my front handle turned the other way like the OMNI pack.
I didn’t have my ion arm end cap painted for the longest time then I gave in. If anything, I could always sand it off. Not a problem.
Well, live and learn! I never noticed that little detail! I just went with the rest of the way, newer thinking outside the box!
I NEVER saw the ribbon cable reversed on the OMNI Pack, until now…

Actually the OMNI pack never changed through out the movie. Winston is wearing the OMNI in the same scene of “aim for the flattop”.
Small update:
I decided to change the screw size of my socket caps on my instrument bar. I was gonna leave it, but something kept bugging me about it so I bit the bullet.
I started by drilling out the 8-32 threading. After that, I filled the hole with magic sculpt. Probably not the strongest stuff out there, but that’s all I had on hand; plus, it’s only holding a tiny aluminum cover piece so it’s not bearing a lot of weight.
I let the sculpt dry over night. In the morning, I drilled and tapped with correct 6-32 threading, and viola!
I have a lot of goodies coming to me next week, and will have some more updates on my thrower, as well for upgrades on my pack soon.
UPDATE:
**So I bit the bullet tonight and spray painted my gun body. Came out really good I must say myself. I’m not very skilled yet with a spray can, as I’ve messed up in the past, but I couldn’t be anymore happy with this paint job.

**I have received other parts a week ago; the rear and front cylinders, which have been painted as well. I had my gun pretty much put together minus the painted gun body and grips. Speaking of which, I received my gun grips from Nick A Tron two days ago, and I already drilled holes and painted them. I used button cap screws to represent the pop rivet look on my grips.

**You might not notice from previous pictures, but I relocated the front barrel locks from 9 and 12 o clock positions to 9 and 11 o clock positions. I like it much better now because I’m not really recreating the “super hero” wand. I tapped a new hole, and with the previous hole I just filled it with magic sculpt, let it dry over night, bondo it, and finally sanded it down.
