Hey everyone. Last fall I built my first pack using ParaNorman’s plans. While I was doing so my twin 4 YO boys asked when I was building packs for them. So I did. The packs are loosely based on the ones from The Real Ghostbusters cartoon. They are simplified to be more durable and survive playtime. I primarily used styrofoam (polystyrene insulation like what you find at Lowe’s / Home Depot) because it weighs next to nothing, its cheap and can take some punishment.
Anyway, while I was building the packs I documented the steps and wrote a 40+ page How To guide. I wanted to share it here because I learned a lot from the people in this forum and wanted to give back to the community. Please look it over and let me know what you think. UPDATE: 7/22/16 I was contacted by someone on my website asking about completing the costume. After looking around on the forums and some searching on Amazon, I’ve added a section about how to complete the kids costume. So now we’re up to Ver 1.1!
