Hey guys and gals,
i modded my Spirit pack “a bit”
What i have done:
-
removed the Gun
-
removed the decals
-
removed the cardboard- motherboard
-
ordered a benofkent 80% Gun, decals, legris, clippard
-
ordered GBfans Soundboard and Jupiter Lightkit
-
Aliceframe
-
made a 80% Aluminium and stainless steel V-Hook
- closed all the slots for the straps with polystyrole
- fixed the upper and lower shell-part
- filled the holes from the speaker
- cut a 2,5mm Aluminium motherboard and add brackets
looking good. interested to see what the new wand looks like all together. Had seen his site for products. But always wondered how they looked put together.
so, finaly I got my parcel from Benofkent, and I start with the Gun.
Its a 80% Size gun (the second gun on the photo is for my sons 60% Pack)
The Body is 3D printed, the handels are aluminium.
I had a lot of sanding and spray-filling work but now it looks nice

I did a little Paintjob on the Benofkent parts…

Some more work on the Throwers

here I tested, how the gun will fit on the spirit pack…

finaly ready!

and here together..

my 1:1 Nick- A tron pack with mighty sound and light
my wifes Spirit pack with 80% Benofkent Thrower , GBfans Sound and Jupiter lights
my sons 60% Benofkent Pack with 80% Benofkent Thrower, GBfans Sound and Jupiter lights
What’re the dimensions on the motherboard you cut. Also this lack looks so good hard to believe it’s a spirit! I’m gonna mod one as well and put my mattty wand on it after some heavy mods
Also what brand and paint did you use to spray the pack silver and then that black it looks awesome
Dimensions? I set the Shell on a 2,5mm aluminium plate and cut it that size. The paint is dupli color. First i painted Aluminiumsilver and than black matt
Thanks for replying. That spirit pack looks incredible I would’ve never know it started out as one
Fantastic job! Did you have any issues with the Spirit Pack shell? I’m planning to do the same with mine, and any insight into possible “gotchas” would be helpful.
Erik, can you possibly show more pics of your motherboard and how you attached it and such? For some reason this part of my build is holding me up as I have no idea how I want to install a motherboard.
Thanks in advance!!
