Okay, so I’m about to order a belt for my black uniform from this site and I wanted the white/grey/khaki pistol belt with it. I told my girlfriend this and she told me to get black. If I had a charcoal uni I’d understand that since the black contrasts against the lighter shade, but being pitch black I figured the lighter belt would be better. My gf didn’t agree and said it looked tacky.

I’ve seen examples of both with relatively darker uniforms going thru pix here, and accuracy be damned, which one looks better from a fashionable view? lol… I might need to ask some women.

Color contrast dictates that with a black uniform you would want a white pistol belt with black grommets and white elbow pads.
