The charcoal-gray uniform is from Halloween 2004 and the other is my newest, from Halloween 2005.
I dunno about the GB2 uniform, it seems to be they were just trying to keep things different. The original GB1 color to me seems much more “Ghostbusters” .. . I dunno, I just prefer the lighter flightsuit, anybody else?
And that is why I ended up making a new uniform for last Halloween… Now, I just use the dark one for those “crazy parties.” That way if something gets spilled on it, it won’t matter as much! :lol:
I was too young to see Ghostbusters 1 in the movie theater, but was old enough to remember all the hype around Ghostbusters II and my parents taking me to see it on opening night, June 16, 1989 (that was also the last day of 2nd grade, before summer vacation). I think that is why GB2 has such a special place in my heart. Good Memories!

eh…but I never was too fond of the logo being on the hood of the car.
Excellent job on both costumes! I especially like the look of the black belt. I’m gonna have to incorporate that into my costume. 
Do I see a Gibson and Barnes tag on the tan suit?

That’s interesting… Other than the obviouse reason, signifying the second movie, always refered to it as a peace sign.
Where did you order the beige/khaki suit from?
I ordered it from Gibson and Barnes, the company that made the uniforms for the movie…
But that is not the color as I received it. It was a custom dye job that I did, I don’t know if I could ever duplicate it.
I thought so.

I apologize, some how I completely missed your post. That is a good eye! Infact, both of those are Gibson and Barnes. The dark grey color is un altered though and the other is custom dyed… By the way I read your post about the cheap zippers. Both of mine have metal zippers, but they’re painted the same color as the suit.
As for the black belt, I made that when I only had the dark grey uniform because that is what they wore with that color uniform. But it works with the khaki as well. At the very end of GB2, while fighting Vigo, they are wearing the black belts.

Lucky you! I asked for metal zippers but the guy told me they were out and it would be another 3 months until they got them in again.
Does yours have the storm flap? If it does I’m going to kill myself. :x

What do you think of the color? I’ve noticed it looks different in about every picture I’ve taken. Which leads me to believe there is no accurate color… Only accurate lighting. :lol:
