Hey, Im trying to get info before I start building a proton pack. This is going to be my first one and is going to be a bigger project than I did on my stormtrooper armor. Plus I want to make sure I do a good job on this one. Just a question to get me started, What is the best shell pack to get or should I build my own? Building my own is iffy, cause im not that good with wood working. Any help would be appreciated.
build your own. just do it. if you worked on storm trooper armor you should be familiar with plastic, people make styrene packs all the time. its cheaper in the long run, with a better feeling of satisfaction rather than “i have this kit, in this kit, and i insterted tab a into slot b!”

alkaline makes a great shell for cheap. i have seen about 3 or 4 of them in person. he stands by his work too. my next pack will be using one of his shells.
I would like to build my own. I guess I should of mentioned that on my stormtrooper armor I got in a kit. I had to trimming and sizing, but did not vacuum form it. I wish I knew how to do that. I know someone who can work real well with wood, but not plastic. Plus I have not built anything in about 6 years. I do appreciate your recommendation. Any help is good.

Yeah I have been checking that out. I actually just bought a wand kit from MMM.
