Hey, im new around here. I happen to be putting together my first Ghostbusters costume. The proton pack is gonna be a little tough since ive never attempted to make one before.
Just needed a little help tracking down an A.L.I.C.E frame
Ive been a long time fan of GB, and i still have my old toy proton pack(1984) and accessories sadly i cant find my ghost trap (although i believe it was missing a door lol)
Id appreciate any tips or help. Thanks everyone!

welcome aboard! Dunno if you found out yet but there are many places online to try and find cheap alice frames, lot of people use ebay to look for good deals but military surplus websites also have new ones as well. Also sometimes you can luck out if you have local military stores. Good luck! :walterpeck:
Yes, ALICE frames are plentiful in the US and you can probably get it in your home state. DON"T waste your money on a full pack (they sell locally in PA for $90+) when you can get the frame for $15-$30 and maybe an extra $10 for the straps (note these are PA prices) As for the other items, there are resin makers like MMM, Exoray does kits and has a nice pack shell, etc. Go to the For Sale section–sometimes fans are unloading their older packs that need TLC or extra resin pieces. well i got the jumpsuit down and such. im working on a proton pack right now. i kinda just wanna do a rough draft though since i dont get payed till next friday so budgets low right now. Ive been taking card board boxes from work and im building a proton pack out of card board to see what its gonna look like overall. lol, it looks pretty cool, ill post pictures when im done. then i use it as a reference when i start building my real one. Went to an army surplus store yesterday and found a flight suit for 100$ ugggh. I think finding them online is much better than buying it there. Also they had ALICE frames for 19.99$ but didnt have the one i needed…blah!
Looked around some more, and found a belt i can use with my costume and also saw some chemical gloves for 4$. So ill probably be getting those soon.
Paydays tomorrow so ill probably be getting some more stuff for my pack.
well i found myself an alice frame on ebay free shipping only 30$, it was perfect, i also have the aluminum motherboard now, it just shipped in yesterday. I am trying to figure out where i can find a bumper for the pack.
