This is probably the best Super Mario game YET!

I’m on World 4 now…taking a little break. Nothing too terribly frustrating yet.
i love mario games, i just haven’t been able to play this one yet. does it have the same worlds as the first mario? what are the major differences?
Read some of the reviews.. multiplayer with 4 people playing at one time, either helping or against each other.
All new levels, and some kick ass music. We already decided the egyptian desert level music makes it sound like the vocalists are saying F*ck. And thats what we say when we die.
They even built in a complete walkthrough, which kicks in when you die too many times in a row, plus a bunch of mini games for boosts.
Best mario game, period.
I’m liking it so far, but the controls seem a little sluggish. Like Mario shuffles around in place a bit before moving his ass. Also, the way you have to physically move the wii remote to do certain things (like pick up an object) is just pointless and shoe-horned in. A simple button combination would’ve been sufficient, imo. It seems like this was originally meant to be a DS game, but they decided later to promote it to a Wii game instead and tacked on a few features like multiplayer and motion gimmicks.
Despite my gripes though, it’s still a very good game. But for me nothing beats the masterpiece that is Super Mario Bros 3!

And you really need to try this with a second or third player to really have more fun with it!
It doesn’t NEED them to play, but it does make it more fun!
I warped to World 8(I’m gonna go back) I beat Kamek’s castle and saved. That was a pretty fun battle!!!
I have to say I peeked at the final boss on youtube and it looks epic and sort of disappointing. It may be harder when I have to play it but it looked a little easy.

i liked it, as i do all Mario games, but it seemed a lil easy and not quite as inventive as id hoped. Maybe it was all the focus on the 4 player ability that killed the drive in those departments. The final boss battle was pretty rad though
Beat it, am now going back working my way filling in the Star Coins, I’ve beat the first 3 levels of World 9 and gotten the star coins. A few levels still have that “wanna throw the controller” frustration to them
