I didn’t really know where else to post this but I read somewhere that there were novelizations of the movies and I’ve been looking around online and can’t seem to find them either for sale or in PDF form. Has anyone read them or know where I can find them? Thank you in advanced.

i actually have GB2. i bought it at a book fair when i was in 5th or 6th grade. i remember my 4th grade teacher had the GB1 novel but i’ve never been able to find one. they are kind of crappy reads though.
Yeah it is a ■■■■ read. But I only look at the pictures, hehe. The novel has color photos in the middle, and obviously the picture book is mostly full-size pictures. “Making Ghostbusters” is still the ultimate Ghostbusters book, keep an eye out for that one on Ebay.
I managed to get both (and the GB2 picture book) at a 2nd hand bookstore.
I hear they’re pretty crappy but I still wanna read them. I pretty much finished my reading list and now I’m after these XD.
I have the part 1 novel, got it when the movie came out. NOT a good read, but it DOES explain why Venkmen hardly has any marshmellow on him at the end of the movie…not a GOOD explanation, but better than nothing.

Again, not a great book, but it exists.
Making Ghostbusters is great, as it has the complete final shooting script, with some notes, and a few portions of deleted scenes from previous versions.
Agreed that “Making Ghostbusters” is the best option. I finally picked up a copy off of AbeBooks last year for 35.00 shipped! It’s been read several times, but over all in fair to good shape.

I have the novels to both GB1 & GB2, although GB2 has black & white images from the movie with a couple of photos that were deleted scenes, i also have the storybooks to both films, never read them but as someone pointed out above they are great for picture reference
The novels are quite easy to come across on Ebay with abit of searching

I used to have the Ghostbusters return novel, but I misplaced it and would like to have another copy. I guess I can try ebay as well.
