Photoshop those proton streams!

Hullo everyone! A few months back, around Halloween, I mentioned that we’d have a few pictures for people to photoshop proton streams into. There was a lot of interest, then I got busy with school and sort of forgot about it until now.

Rather than just throwing up the “action shots” that we took from Halloween alone, I’ve uploaded all of our pictures from 2006, the good and the bad, for people to cherry pick and edit as they like. I’m gonna link to the directory, because the pictures are a bit big, over 1mb apiece. I uploaded the big copies to give everyone more to work with.

So have at it, photoshop gurus! We’ll most likely feature the best action shot on the front page of the Indiana Ghostbusters site.

ok so i picked a rondom pic from your list. got the beetlejuice one. spent 2 hours with photoshop, and now picoodle is being dumb and wont upload it. i really wanted to get it up for ya. ill try again tommorow.

Excellent work. :slight_smile: You may become my go-to guy for our action shots. I especially like the way you added the looping effect so that the streams look like they’re wrapped around his body. Great job!

too much going on for a close up i think, and i never can seem to get the lightning quite how i want it. anyone got any tips for the lightning?

its mainly due to the distortion filter , i set it to glass for the arcs :slight_smile:

ive been toying with using pics of real lightning for the eletrical arcs.

this is just a test to see if i could do it

Excellent work on all of these. You guys put my meager photoshop skills to shame. I also love the sig pic with all the text, though Believe is misspelled. Otherwise that looks great. :slight_smile:
