Proptronix sound help needed

First the specs of what I have

Proptronix rev 1 replica props adapter

Cana kit 8 watt mono amp

9 v for the lights and sound chip

12 v for the amp

Two Polk ex series 2 4 ohm ex 6028a

6 1/2 inch Coaxial speakers

1 generic tweeter in the gun itself

Now my dilemma it has a static sound like so unclear you can barely make out what the sound is whenever I turn the volume up more then 25%

I might also add that I have the pot extended and ran to the gun for volume as well.

Can anyone tell me what’s wrong before I end up putting this thing in a wood chipper?

Your speakers are to big for that set up or it may be the anp. I just ended up useing two 8 ohm speakers.
