Proton Pack help needed :(

I very much would like to build a proton pack.

I’ve tried a couple times using wood and plans I found online. However the results were poor.

I have experience with Pepakura, having made an iron man helmet in the past.

I have been searching for pep files for the past few days but all I’ve found are dead links and unrelated files.

Can anyone help me out?

Jason

You could really just print Stefan’s plans at 1:1 and make the proper pep modifications to put them together. One member had made true blue pep files, but took them down to prevent folks from profiting from them.

No more pep files around, but you could look at Hammer’s build. He is building a pep pack from scratch.

The files were removed on request by the original maker, so unfortunately there won’t be any way to access them.

Do what Hammer did!

That’s…unfortunate.

I opted to get the vacu-formed pack from studio creations.

However whenever pep files become available I’d still like to build one using that method.

It sounds like you’ve already got a leg up on me. I had no experience with pep. None…I can say I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. The added bonus of researching several sets of plans was becoming very familiar with pack details I never knew existed. Plus, if you do your own plans you can do anything you want with them. Check out my thread along with the others here. I studied the process quite a bit before I jumped in. My only regret was not running my drawings through a copier…

Or a scanner…

Xerox or bust!
