I found something interesting today. I was looking for the Kenner Legacy books and found a picture on one webpage I found. Its really small, but its a picture of a possible prototype or concept GB Firehouse. Heres a link

I may be looking at the wrong pic, but that looks like the firehouse that Kenner DID produce for GB.
The one they did produce is on the left, there is one on the right thats blue and looks alittle different
It looks deeper, and closer in colour to the Firehouse in the cartoon.
I have that magazine laying around here somewhere and I too noticed the firehouse looks different. The biggest difference beside the color is the fact that the second floor is a complete floor. Not that strange L shaped walkway.
Is there anything else in the magazine that is of interest? Is there any chance you could scan any of them?
I had the same pic from that link saved from an earlier ebay auction.
On closer inspection, I think it might just be a cardboard mock-up of the final product.
Or it was heavily airbrushed?
yeah they probably did that illustration for the catalog before they had the actual product built.
I’m kicking myself because I can’t find it. But I remember there was also a picture of another design for the Proton Pack that came out. It look much more like the Pilot episode version.

I bought Kenner legends 11 I think. It really didn’t have anything of interest other than the ecto glow copter and the Police academy variant. There is also a Police truck variant of the unreleased fire truck.
