So I’ve been trying to find info on these but am having a hard time finding them. Im interested in a vacuformed shell for one of my pack builds but not sure if anyone still makes these. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Quite the morning for vac-form shells on the boards! Just search Studio Creations via Google. $85 (included shipping for me in the U.S.) There was another guy making them in California called D-42 but I have not seen him on the boards in a while.

How are the quality on those? I am looking for a shell for my FIRST proton pack build. Thats quite a different from $300-400 for a fiberglass shell.

they quality isn’t bad. it isn’t nearly as good as a fiberglass shell can be, but its serviceable if you don’t mind the differences. I’ve found them to be a touch smaller, and a lot of the detail just isn’t there due to the vacuuming process. but, it will get you started, and I’ve seen a lot of builds that did really well with them.
How much smaller are they?

Well that’s disappointing. Here I thought the SC shell was appropriately sized. It doesn’t look too bad in that pic, but the Nick shell does seem a bit bigger, possibly exaggerated by the camera angle.
