This is my proton pack made out of cardboard, card stock, and house hold items like bottle caps, listerine caps, boxes, etc.
first pic: made the motherboard, ppd, booster, and part of the spacer.
second pic: added ion arm, power cell, clippard, knobs for ppd, 2 tubes, n filter, and cyclotron
third pic: added crank generator, crank knob, gun mount box, and hga
fourth pic: paint job
fifth pic: did some details, and added the ribbon cable and tube.
now i need to do the neutrona wand…

Did u try pepkura files? You can get the whole gun printed out on paper and glue it to cardboard and cut it out. That what im planning on doing
pepkura seems complicated. besides i don’t have the software.

I didn’t know we had an age limit here? I just figured you wouldn’t have acces to certain areas of the forum if you were to young. That kinda bums me out that that a young kid with a talent and love for GB’s probably got the first ban of his life from one of the best ghostbusters information sites out there.

It’s not meanness. There are federal regulations about internet use for those under 13, and many sites–like this one–simply avoid the legal hassles by not allowing people to sign up until they’re at least 13 years old.

Oh I definitely know it wasn’t out of meanness.. I understand all the politics that surround it, it’s just a shame that sometimes it could stifle someones creativity and ability to share that creativity.
I was just picturing myself as a young 11 year old whippersnapper, building a pack like he has, joining the likes of us on this site and being excited about posting what I had accomplished then ban hammer lol

also, any idea’s for elbow pads? my bro is going as spengler for halloween and he needs elbow pads. he is a stickler for accuracy and got mad ■■■■■■ when he found out he attached the booster tube to the motherboard instead of the box.
AJ maybe doing another run of the elbow pads he had made last year. Keep an eye on the For Sale thread for you.. I mean your brother.

As for the age thing just keep your nose clean, dont start fights and everything should be ok.

I would say pick up some youth nee pads that look close to them, and have a parent cut, burn and dye, the pads. Because I wouldn’t go for 25 dollar knee pads, try to go on the cheap side of things.
Just thought I’d mention this, not to rain on anyone’s parade, but the booster tube can be attached to the motherboard, the box or both the motherboard and box at the same time. I know mine slips into the eda box and it bolted to the motherboard. Some screen used packs even have a weld whether it be real or fake securing the booster tube to the motherboard.
As for the elbow pads, like what was said before me I would look for some youth volleyball knee pads. There all over the interwebs including eBay. Trim, dye and paint them with the help of your brother and parents.
You will end up with great results that way. Plus It’ll be cheaper and you won’t have to wait.
Search the forums if you need to for help with what to use for dying and painting, you’ll find everything you need.
