Brief update… got a couple of technical things done last night.
Made a trip to ACE to hunt for something to use as the fitting that goes on the cosmetic piece beneath the booster tube.
Ended up grabbing a half inch PVC cap, and plastic bearing bushing (I think that’s what they had it labeled as)
Just sanded down the both pieces, drilled a hole in the side of the PVC cap and..success
Also started tinkering with the gun last night…been trying to figure out how to get the switch to open like it does in the cartoon and figured it out last night
Used flat brass and brass pins..
My god, those are breathtaking. You guys are true masters of your craft. I hope that my RGB pack will turn out as awesome as you guy’s do. Keep those pics coming!!!

Had yet another amazing build weekend, and we’re getting closer and closer to completing the packs.
All of us were working on different things to try and get our packs done. Scott was able to get a good amount of his pack primed and painted, Nick got his fully primed, and I spent the weekend hashing out the rest of the construction details in terms of both the pack and the gun.
Also worked on during the weekend were the RGB belt gizmos. Both Scott and Nick got theirs fully built and painted, and all that’s left is finish wiring up the lights…
During the week last week I was able to build another gun box and construct two ion arms.. this was a taken part way during the construction..
Now on to the exciting stuff
As most of you know that are fans of the RGB packs, especially those that have built one.. the gun hook has been something that has boggled our mines… How does it work? Does it work? Or, is it some the cartoonists drew up to drive us crazy?
Our answer is it’s possible.. and it works!
We give you… the RGB can opener!
Ok…hold on.. that’s it’s other use.. any way..lol.. I give you the RGB gun hook
Complements of Umoribawar, and what an amazing job he did making these 100% to our spec.

So there you have it.. working RGB gun hooks.. few minor tweaks to what DiC had drawn, to make it actually work.. but hey
Will give a cooler effect once we have the rest of the gun together

That gun hook looks a bit more like a bottle opener to me! You’ll have to try them at Miller Time.

Awesome rgb pack progress. I’m still scratching my head over how exactly the gun is attached to the pack using that hook design. Can you post some pics of how it’s attached or explain about it cuz i’m still lost figuring it out lol. Can’t wait to see the end results of the build.
