Some of you may remember me doing a mini custom pack a few months ago. Well after we received the Real Ghostbusters Box Set, I really started to like the cartoon pack. So I decided to invest in a new jump suit, and take on building the pack, MINI/Scaled down style
I refereed to some old schematic plans I found on an older RGB post, as well as the schematics imbedded in the cases of the box set. I even fast forwarded through about 4 RGB episodes taking notes on the color of everything.
Here are some some progress pics: Estimated completion date is - Feb 22nd.
Ok here are some pics of todays progress. I have only been working on this for about 5 nights, and then a good amount of today. Very fast moving project. I will be moving my sound into this pack as well..
Ok here are the latest pics of my Mini/SCALED down RGB pack. Only thing left to do on the pack is add the bottom box to the spacer, add the gun mount, hook up the sound.. and do the gun. Should be done by this coming weekend.
You’ve done a really nice job there, my only critique is the thickness of the cyclotron. I know this is a scaled down pack so I’m assuming you did it this way for that reason?
with the bumper on it it seems like everything is to scale…its pretty amazing how much a bumper really adds to any pack. I am pretty excited to see it myself also, but im more excited for the gun, I love the RGB gun for some reason. as always like ive said before, you are an amazing craftsman…well craftswoman? it sounds soo cunning lol
Kyle.. Yes of course I will be wearing this thing! It’s my masterpiece I will take a picture tonight wearing it so you can get a sense of how big it is. It’s about the same size as my other custom pack.
Thanks Griff. Yea the bumper really helped pull the whole thing together. Tonight I get the fun of mounting the bumper to the cyclotron.. yippy…lol. Last night was me battling to get all the electronics to fit inide the cyclotron.. that was a task.
Should be starting on the gun tonight. Can’t wait to show you guys what I am doing for the end of the barrel Its going to be pretty cool and different.
Is that some sort of brown sleeve slid over the forward handle? That looks awesome! I had an idea similar to that I wanted to use when I get around to building one of these. It makes the design look a whole lot cleaner.
