ok so I have been all over the internet this past week. And all my hard work has paid off! I found the round knob in the front of the trap today. It is the 1/2 wide 10/16 high , has the four brakes around the knob, and has a the indent at the top with the silver top. oh and a screw on the side to lock it to what ever it goes to. I will post picks when they get here I only got 40 of them . But I will make resin ones to sell at a lower price than the real ones. oh and the I found the knob for the side of the trap too!!! just like the one in stefin’s plans . So get ready they are coming.
I got some off ebay from a guy selling amp and guitar parts.
I think they are amp knobs! Thats what they where listed under where I got them.

sorry but I did not order them from there. The silver top on that one is wrong! The top has an indent where the silver top is. Not the way the silver top is on that knob.

I understand that. What I am saying is that the knob I found has NO prep work ( like removing a cap). And that knob looks to have a taper to it. the one I order is straight. I will post a pic today of the knob
If what Mike has is what I have then the knob should be more accurate than what is pictured above. I also have an accurate silver side knob, but obtaining that is a bit more difficult.
It only looks big in the pick. But the size is 1/2 wide and 10/16 high. now it has the black pointer line on the silver plate. But that can be scrubbed off or you can keep it . What ever you want. OH and the side screw is not in the pic. Thats because it on the other side of the knob.

I have purchased these as well in the past. They are in fact amp knobs and owning both types I have to agree with Jack and Colin that the other knobs listed with the pop off top are a much better match for accuracy.
You can, but the typical bullshit of ordering a minimum of 250 is in effect. HERE is the link to all information needed on the subject. I’ve yet to find a distributor that will negotiate below the 250 minimum, as they don’t want to order them either.
And just so we’re clear, it’s been done before:
Just a heads-up, more and more people wanted the real deals compared to my resin offerings (even with the set-screws installed.) Best of luck on the endeavor.
