Ok so for Halloween this year I want to go as a just slimed GB. Which color uniform do you guys think would look best slimed, light or dark? I may have money in my budget to get two flightsuits but in case I don’t i was just wondering what ya’ll think. I kind of feel like a lighter one would show the slime better. Also I have a few ideas for slime (going for the venkman Sedgewick look) but if you guys have any suggestions for that im open as well. Thanks
I am doing this also. I lightly dyed my khaki suit Grey like the movies. I am just going to cover myself in green Dawn dish soap with a little bit of something else i dunno what yet. How you making your slime? I suggest light suit. that way it gived that wet look like venkman.
I have both some green Suave body wash I found at Wal-Mart, and also some of that Skip-Flea dog shampoo. They both are almost the exact color of the slime from Slimer in GB1. I’ve also seen somewhere around here how to make your own slime which I may experiment with. I’m pretty sure at this point I’m going to be using a khaki suit and dye it gray. If I have enough loot I may try for a dark GB2 one as well, or atleast a little ways down the road.
Green Wet Look hair gel surely? That swhat I am gonna use on my mate Kenny who is being Venkman…He doesn’t know it yet though…He’ll see the funny side…won’t he???

I used aloe vera and slathered it all over. Sure it kind of smelled, but it looked good, and it washed out.
I was also able to find these packets of green slime gel from Alien VS. Predator at a halloween store for $.50 cents each (marked down from 2 bucks).
Personally what I used was marshmellow fluff dyed greeen I used about four of the 1.00 containers from walmart and once on it started to warm up to my body temperature and started to drip everywhere, it looked like real slime and tasted quiet good too!
In the commentary the makers of the movie said they used starch from Chinese food. I remember one of my friends telling me she ate at Chinese restaurant and saying one of the dishes looked like the slime from Ghostbusters. Maybe it was the same thing. I definitely wana get my hands on this starch and see what’s up.
Just cook some regular cornstarch and green coloring in water. Something like 3 or 4 tablespoons per cup of water. It’ll thicken up eventually, and will thicken even more as it cools.
yeah I was gonna say, this stuff is easy to make up your own batches and it cheap. Just dont mess with it while its red hot off the stove. SHEEESH
