Now, when he sticks his hand in the building he is face to face with floor 33, at least that’s what I assume the big 33 means in the hallway. Now, if that is true, then wouldn’t that make him like…300 feet tall? It didn’t look like he was hanging onto the building as he seems to have just walked away, unless maybe he was floating or something.
Now when we see him on the roof he doesn’t look 300 feet tall. The building is like 35, 36 stories so if he fell from that height, well he’s only falling like 30 feet which isn’t all that much. That’s like a person falling 6 inches.
So my question is, how tall is staypuft in the game and how big is he really in relation to the building?
Not sure exacty. I seem to remember somewhere a debate about his actual in-universe hieght, but i think it was some where around 110-112 feet. As for him falling and turning into a giant smore, you have to remember that you’ve spent the last few minutes blasting him with high heat proton beams and boson darts. he’s probably gone squishy by that point.
Hrrrm.. Never thought of it like that.. All I remember is.. after killing Stay Puft I had an intense desire to turn off the game and go roast some marshmallows for some reason…
This is why I love being a fat kid. As soon as I did thatvlevel I went in the backyard and roasted marshmellows over my fire pit. God good times… Good times
I’d put the building at more than 210 feet with an average of seven feet for every level, though I know it would be more for cetain levels. Stay puft being a beer 112 feet, leaves him plenty of space to climb and fall.
The 112 number comes from a compromise between the filmmakers. Some wanted to say the marshmallow man was 100 feet tall, others said 125. 112.5 was the compromise.
Funny, us going out like this. Killed by a 112.5 foot marshmallow man!
People making the game can’t spend time with this kind of stuff.
Anything can be re sized just to fit the situation at hand. If at the end of the level, Stay Pufft is as tall as the building, they can just re size him for the boss fight sequence.
Another way to look at it, the entire building doesn’t even have to “be there” during the inside levels. When you go through the front doors from the streets, the upstairs levels aren’t even there until needed.
