I have a question for you experts out there. I am planning on buying one of the Studio Creation shells and wanted to know if any of the pre-made metal motherboards by any of the sellers that offer them will fit the shell with little to no modifications? Anyone have any experience with one? Pics would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
Honestly, It’s easier to just get a sheet of quarter inch MDF, trace the shell and cut.
Since the Studio Creations shells are a bit smaller than standard, screen accurate shells, most sellers make motherboards to fit full sized accurate shells. You could either get some MDF and make a Mobo out of that, or get a full sized aluminum mobo, trace and cut out of that. If you have a jig-saw with a metal cutting blade, it’s really quite easy to do, but to answer your question, to my knowledge, no one makes an aluminum (or otherwise) mobo for the SC shell.
I’m not sure if any fit but I built a pack with this shell and used mdf for my mobo. I do believe most mobo’s ppl sell are to big for this shell. If you want to know for sure I’d say pm one of the sellers or post this question on their for sale thread and read the for sale threads and use the search bar to see if this question has been asked before or not. But I also believe mdf would be your best option. Unless you are ok with sanding or grinding or whatever to get an aluminum mobo down to the right size.

Echo what Dark said. As long as you have a jigsaw its much easier to make a mobo yourself.
I’ve personally built a pack with a SC shell and 1/8" MDF for the mobo. If you don’t plan to reinforce the inside of the shell with fiberglass, I would highly recommend using an aluminum mobo, or something more sturdy than MDF. I’ve seen a lot of guys use street signs or other “recyclable” pieces of metal for theirs. I know its about $50 just for a sheet of 1/8" aluminum that you’d need for the mobo, so a street sign or something along those lines is definitely the way to go.
