The Global Warming scam--the smoking gun

Actually the largest producer of greenhouse gases are cows through their manure. Eat more chikin!!

I believe your talking about methane, I was referring to CO2.

Most people don’t get even close to reaching the expected lifespan.. If you go and research which nation has the highest average, you’ll realize that it doesn’t have anything to do with modern medicine.

But you can believe whatever AARP catalog you subscribe i guess.

Oh and please, get the chemistry right if you want to defend the “global warming” fad. Its Carbon Monoxide.

CO2 is what plants live off. And what we breathe out. Our breathing doesn’t pollute, unless Al gore says so.

I wasn’t gonna read through all of it. But I’ll throw in my 2 cents or whatever phrase you wanna use…

Global warming is 100% propaganda. People are pushed and forced to believe that if we do not find a new fuel source even before we run out of what we have we could cause the earth to warm up, melt the polar caps and flood the world. Or even more cause Earth to be much like our sister planet Venus. It is for good or for worse (money only instead of science) used to try and push the issue of making “advances”

The truth of the situation is our pollution does in fact have affects on our world and global climate change no matter which direction it goes is a possible affect but the outcome is still all, no pun intended, in the air.

I agree with AJ the propaganda does have one good side finding new cleaner and renewable fuels is a good thing, very good. But I agree with Uni, the scares and price hikes are a ■■■■■■ side affect; but people are morons and will buy anything thinking they have no choice or refuse to educate them selves on the choices they can make.

sigh

Oh how I wish my husband was a member of this forum.

However, he’s not and never will be because he’s too busy being a field environmental hydro-geologist…finding and cleaning up the man-made messes that humanity has caused that affect all of us whether we realize it or not. These ‘messes’ affect the water we drink, the ground we walk on, the air we breathe. These messes also include the lakes, rivers, streams and oceans we fish or swim in and the mountains we climb or simply admire.

His 20 years experience unveil eroding shorelines, un-potable water, loss of critical sea life, a gas station or former dry cleaner property that cannot be sold due to man-made toxicity and much, much more.

Alas, I am not the expert. I only live with one.

I cannot take him lightly concerning these issues though. Doing geology work at a certain space center (fill in the blank with four letters), Yellowstone Park and former government super-fund sights are nothing to balk at. There’s a hazmat uniform in the garage as well as a gas mask.

Scary, yes.

On another note, there is a fantastic batik artist that through many years of doing batik art of both Carolina shore lines reveals to us a reality of that particular landscape. Her amazing works hang in many places in the USA. She has been photographing the shorelines since 1946 to the present, from the air. There is a bit of irony in flying over (using fuel) yet the discoveries are noteworthy.

How dare he make money cleaning up our imaginary mess!

Out there hosing the dirt off of the dirt.

He smells darnit.

The top countries by life expectancy are all developed countries…

I knew Japan and parts of China were at the top. I’m not quite sure what your point is here. I know you have it out for all of Asia, but they’re not all third world countries; they have modern healthcare systems. Looking now, I see Andorra in the top 3 as well. That’s Europe, and a wealthy part at that. Are they stuck in the Stone Age as well?

You know, You’re probably right. I totally forgot about people regularly living well into their 70s and 80s 300 years ago. Sure, they were killed off in droves by common colds and flus, but we’re no better off today.

I mean, the fact that the average lifespan more than doubled in the last 100 years alone has to be just a major coincidence!

By that same token, I’m sure urban development has done absolutely nothing to make a greater percentage of the Earth inhabitable. Hell, we dare not even dream of going so far as to create new land where previously there was none.

Funny how the world works, huh?

Life expectancy of humans used to make 20 years old the start of a mid-life crisis.

You really need to read some history books.

and go test drive a honda cpu 64

but stay away from toyotas, all the gas pedals are being recalled. how do you screw up a gas pedal?

By applying too much math in the creation process.?

It’s not the gas pedal, just a particular type of optional floor mat getting jammed up under the gas pedal.

When the mat’s not clipped down, it slides forward and gets stuck. They provide some clips in a bag along with the floor mats with instructions, but people apparently didn’t use them. I had to give my floor mat clips (since I’m not using the stock mats) to my sister’s friend to fix her Prius.

It’s more a case of user error, but Toyota’s offering replacement pedals that don’t need as much clearance, and redesigned mats that won’t interfere even if installed incorrectly.

And just before CPU64 interjects… All the models affected but the Prius are American-made.

A few hours ago they were saying it had to do with cruise control and brakes.

There is no denying that humans can leave a negative mark on a plot of land, or in a river or lake, but the question here is, is our mark big enough to change the climate. I’m really not sure one way or another, but I support the preventive steps.

no lie, this is what happened to my friend when he went to a swimming hole that was being used as a dumping ground for toxic waste and stuff.

You’re missing the point kid. Being American made is not the main reason why I am against imported cars. But really, why even bother explaining that to you? Its not like it can improve your view on things.

One day you’ll see it clearly.

I can’t miss a point if there’s none being made.

Hide behind the age difference if it makes you feel any better, though.

I like you.

You’d make a fine politician.

the worst thing about this is my pic of the toxic avenger isn’t showing. :frowning:
