Okay, it’s just a donation box but propped out in the style of a containment unit. I started with two plastic storage containers from Office Depot stacked opening-to-opening with the top cut out.

I added a small junction box and primed them gray.

I joined them in place with conduit fasteners and added several more junction boxes and electrical fixtures.

The power line conceals a chain to thwart any thieving somanabatches.

Electrical greeblies and stickers added.

Painted the hinge red and it’s ready for our table.

I love love love LOVE those little radio shack frankenstein toggle switches!!! I would have them in the Ecto if I had the room :frowning:

That is quite a nice job. At this point, is it inert? Are there plans to put some electronics, or even simple lights, inside it?

Yes, it would be cool to power the lights at some point.

I’ve toyed with the idea of making a containment unit donation box, but I never got around to it. Now that I’ve seen yours, I really really want to make one. Terrific job man, it looks amazing!

But you have the ONLY Ecto-Goggle Helmet I have ever seen! Totally awesome.

What shade of red did you use on the containment unit? If you don’t mind my asking.
