So this guy put some of these up yesterday and they sold really quick. I’ve messaged him before and he seems like a good guy but I wanted to get the take on the shell. I think it looks great and the price is right for me.
Any thoughts?
It looks good to me. Not sure what others will think, but it definitely looks the part.
At first glance I would have to say that is a “Loveusmokey” AKA “Midwestpropshop” shell. Both of whom are blacklisted sellers here for recasting. By the wording in the description I am would have to say it is loveusmokey selling those but I could be wrong.
i saw that too. i noticed that in his other auctions the ion arm really looks like a recast. but i could be wrong.
yeah I noticed the other stuff didnt look that great but I thought the shells look really solid.
I’d love to get a shell that looks really nice for that price.
that is a hell of a price for a shell. they look good to me. i would just keep close contact with them.
“Midwest prop shop” was caught recasting another members PKE wings and was also suspected of recasting another blacklisted sellers’s bumper. Now that I looked it over I am 99% sure that is Midwestpropshop selling those under a new name.
Also, resin shells are not a good route to go. I would spend the extra money on a fiberglass shell if you are looking to buy.
There is no doubt these are “Loveusmokey” AKA “Midwestpropshop” shells, so I would venture to say they are back with a name change to try and fool everyone and hide the recasting actions…

I’d have to agree with Exoray, these are midwestpropshop shells. I bought one several years ago and they look almost identical, not to mention the location as well. Both sellers are from southern IL.
Seen those myself on my daily eBay check the other day and Loveusmonkey was the first thought that popped into my head. I’m also pretty sure that thier other accounts on eBay went crazy near the end and screwed alot of people out of items!
