jay tigran can probably do it. Check out this post Add Proton streams to your Pack picture With JayTi Help! - Fan Art - GBFans.com
Hope this helps.
It’d be better if you gave an guide for what you want. White paint and the standard logo is a safe assumption, but would you want some sort of red segment? How large a roof rack… if it should even have one?
yah sorry, I don’t do cars :sigh:
i would want the car to be white i was thinking the wing red logos a low profile roof rack im going to do this for real and thanks to anyone how can do this
You should probably worry more about getting your car painted in real life, and not photoshopped painted.
You car is low to the ground and small, like ours. Odds are, best you could manage is something along the lines of what we did in a few days for halloween.
i just think the younger jen would like it more that a wagon and i dont drive it very offen
There are just limits of what you can do with a smaller car. Odds are, like us, you’ll only have 2 ft x 3 ft to actually work with.
Thats not much space at all. We will probably replace our fake police light bar with a real one, but other then that, some hoses, and lebels, there isn’t much more we could do with that amount of space. The top silver box houses the speakers, and its completly filled with them, so that is limited as well.
We repurposed an old bike rack’s straps to make ours totally removable, the gas tanki hose it mounted with a suction cup from harbor freight, and the side logos are magnetic, so the car can easily be reverted back to normal.
You could do something more permanant, but with such a small roof space, you are really limited on what you can add. The ghost sniffer gas hose, oxygen tank and sonar take up the entire driver side of the rack, and the silver box and passenger yellow tank take up the entire passenger side.
Its doable. You just have to make smaller equipment to go on the roof.
It would’ve helped if he had provided a bigger image ![]()
Impressive, 64. I took one look at that paint job and gulped (ultra reflective pain schemes are not easy to change to a matt finish)
Its a quick little trick I use.
Add color, while using the original reflections under it through opacity and exposure adjustment..
Also, white reflects much less than dark colors.
Some of the grass reflected onto the side of the car.
Its easy to say reduce the size of things, but thats isn’t entirely possible without looking like you put a bunch of small toys on your roof.
The dual side tanks in your reduced pic would probably be about the size of those mini coke bottles that are 3 inches tall. The sniffer would have to be about 8 inches tall, and couldn’t even be built out of PVC pipes any more, because the rods would probably have to be 1/2" diameter.
Gas tank hoses typically are 3" diameter.. 2 side by side would be 1/4 of an entire side of the roof rack!
I looked at options reducing the size of items, and it just looked plain bad. far better to reduce the number of items on the roof rack, and have them look like they do something, then to have minature tiny ones.
As I said, look at what we did with 2 feet by 3 feet.. because thats about all the space you’ll have. We extended that some by putting the fake police light bar forward of the main rack assembly, but like your car, because of the slope of the roof, you end up with a nice large wing that wants to suck air underneath it when you hit higher speeds.
Dude!
It was just a mock up ![]()
I know, but you did say that all you had to do was scale down parts. Police light bars don’t come in 3" wide sizes, and police rollers are huge on a small car like this.. thats why I used blue cups.. LOL!
We are actually considering buying a larger old car now for an ecto, after seeing what we could and couldn;t actually do with a small car.
great job thanks …was you going to do the side veiw
I’d thik that would give you enough of an idea if you wanted to proceed or not.
cpu64… :crunch: you deserve it
i really need to learn how to do that stuff. maybe after i graduate from college ill have the time
The bodykit looks better painted.
