Using Venkman71’s plans with 3mm and 6mm MDF.
Looks really good, are you using super glue to put that together? Does it hold up?
Superlgue did’nt work very well, the MDF sort of absorbed it.
So I used wood glue and hot glue in the end.
That’s what I figured, a good wood glue and clamps does the trick. You can also use small diameter dowel pins to help secure two pieces together. Brushing wood glue onto the end grain to seal it also helps otherwise your primer will keep soaking in, over and over LOL

Ha yeah, I bought special primer for MDF as I’m bored of having to use filler on every cut edge.

I don’t know how I’m gonna do this. I think I will just use glue to make it one peice for two reasons;

looks great Andy! i have a few spare sets of resin trap knobs lying about so if you need some give me a shout and ill sling a set your way.
Put a locking pin in the bottom or something… with a twist grip?
Or a spring and a bar going through one of the trap knobs like a quick release… But the you might aswell go all out and make the handle button functional

1 Piece rather than cartridge would be best for cons. Cartridges I’d say are just for a show off thing (unless your that guy with the long hair who wears skirts “Nah its ■■■■ unless its FBO, I can make a mould from that you know?”)

That guy was commissioned to 4 packs, then later said there was flashing on my Ion Knob, but he could sort that out and then make a cast of it in resin for me.
