I bought a Khaki Tru-Spec flight suit online (not from GBFans) and discovered it was just a little too big, so I ordered another. The second fits perfectly, however I notice it is significantly darker and different in color from the first. Has anyone seen this color variant before and how common this might be?
(The photos don’t perfectly reflect the color, but you can see how different they are.)
Also, I’m not sure what to do at this point. I don’t know if I can return either of these. I could order another, but would I be taking a chance on getting another darker one with the less accurate color? I’ve considered dying it, but I fear I might ruin it. Any suggestions?
My one (also from GB Fans shop) seems closer to the darker shade out of those two. Though I can live with it personally. I suspect that if you wash it enough, the colour will fade a bit.
Mine wasn’t from the GBFans shop, so the color difference is probably not related to the vendor if yours is darker too. I personally think the darker looks better as it contrasts great with the color on the no-ghost logo patch and the name tag. But I like to shoot for accuracy where possible too. I just have to decide if I’m going to keep it before I try to do anything to it. 
Ah yes, I obviously have a blind spot for the word “not”. 
I agree, I rather like the darker shade… though I won’t complain if it fades a bit.
Do you still have the extra flight suit? what size? Which one is it in the picture?
I bought one from GBfans and misjudged the size and mine is way too big.
My first flight suit order (from Amazon) was the correct, lighter color, but it was too big (XL Long). So I ordered a new one (Large Long) from sportsmansguide.com because it was cheap, but it was darker in color. In most lighting, the newer one actually looks very yellowish, almost green in some lighting. I took those pictures to compare before sending the XL Long one back.
