So it seems everyone is returning for the game but to key supporting cast members. Louis and Dana. Could this be a surprise later on or just a no show?
I don’t see any reason for them not to be in the game, so if rick and sigourney have chosen not to do it, then my best guess is they won’t have an appearance in the game. Were they in it, they would’ve announced it at the same time as announcing the rest of the cast.
If they’re not lending their voices, I"m sure they can find voice talent to copy-cat them. Even if their characters weren’t in it, it wouldn’t be a big deal. I’d rather see tully in it than dana.
Having Louis in the game would be cool, Rick Moranis doing the voice or not. Even if the character by himself made an appearance would be cool. I’m really stoked about Walter Peck, and the actor that played him doing the voice, going to be in the game. It’s going to be great ■■■■■■■ him off by blowing ■■■■ up! Remember, when in the multiplayer, keep in mind this from GB1:
Ray: “We should split up.”
Egon: “Good idea.”
Venkman: “Yeah, we can do more damage that way.”
And there is going to be a whole ■■■■ load of us, running around with unlicensed nuclear accelerators or our backs!
Roger Bumpass would be a good alternative Tully! 
Plus his name is funny! :vinzclortho: I forget who it was but there was one comedian someone posted a video of him doing a good impression of “The Keymaster” It would be funny to have him as your accountant and have him talk to you as well as the guys but I guess at this point, he won’t be used. 
The word is that Moranis and Weaver passed - and having interviewed Rick, that sounds about right. Unless something changes, he’s not interested in returning to the Louis role at all. Which is a shame.
I second the Roger Bumpass nomination - I worked with him once and I can totally see him putting in a good performance. Plus… well… he’s got a funny name. 
I’m really excited about bill Murray reprising his role as peter venkman.

It doesn’t really matter if Rick Moranis passed. We don’t need the Ghostbusters’ accountant to help out.
His character really didn’t need to be in the second movie, either.
Agreed, it was from the school of ‘we need everyone back even if we didn’t really need a reason for it’…
I fear if Dana Barrett were back there’d be the danger of her becoming typecast as the center for all potential disaster.
But, now with Louis out of the picture… what of Egon and Janine? Will Harold correct the mistake he made with Ghostbusters II after where the cartoons went and the general fan consensus that they’re a proper item?
That would be good.
Also, if they show Janine, restore her appearance to the look from the first movie, not the weird look from the second one. They could include the cat-eye glasses from the cartoons for a clever nod to the fans.
I know I’m stepping into dangerous territory now… :sigh: lol I liked the way RGB played it for the most part like the movie, that she was into him but he either didn’t know how to act or was oblivious most of the time. I would never really care to see them together. It’s the chase or the unrequited love that makes it funny. Kinda like on Family Matters when Laura and Steve finally got together…it just didn’t make for good comedy anymore. :oops:
Funny if you think about it in GB2, you never see Egon and Janine in the same place other than the closing credits if I remember correctly. Come to think of it, she never interacts with any of the guys in the second movie other than the handing her the traps scene.
If anything, some kind of offbeat thing would be funny! Sure they wanted to get Moranis back so they could have him, but as far as I’m concerned, he’s a central character after the guys and is an extremely funny addition to the main cast. I can’t imagine GB2 without Louis Tully. :vinzclortho:

The comedian that did “The Keymaster” impression is Frank Caliendo,he is known best for his Madden impression from MadTV.
He would be great for Louis,but I highly doubt he would do it.
They could have Janine flirt with…you! The playable character, that is.
Only problem is that I would have to keep telling her not to stare at me with them bug eyes.
I think Weaver passed on account of she’s working with James Cameron for Avatar.

Imdb say’s that tully is in but dana is not but something tells me that she’ll come around and loan her voice to it.
They said that the Dana character doesn’t work with the story they have, so I’d be willing to bet she’s not going to be in it.
There is something to be said for cameo appearances, even if they are only lending aesthetic value. Besides…I remember during the time “Honey I Blew Up the Kid” came out, rick said that he liked the gang and wouldn’t mind getting back together with them (though, I suppose the decades can change things).
Wait Dana not importain, the how will you play the Venkman angle?
