The summer of 1996 my family took a vacation to Orlando, FL where we went to a different theme park every day of the week. I forgot which day we went to Universal Studios but I remember going to the Ghostbusters show and had my picture taken with the show’s “Egon”. I remember as the park was closing, we were on the other side of the park trying to make our way to the entrance when we spotted Ecto-1 cruising through one of the back streets. We chased it down as it began to drizzle and finally caught up to Ecto-1. This was my first time seeing anything related to Ghostbusters in person and being like 12 years old I was estatic. This is the only photo I had of Ecto-1 for the longest time. Now I’ve seen multiple Ecto-1’s.
What an awesome job to have had to just drive Ecto-1 around.
