Just wanted to mention if we can get atleast 3 people to film us preferably people with a keen eye for filming and that have ideas etc. We can film around London and also outside HMV doing variouse things and meeting public may be doing the GB dance in Trafalgar Sq and in other sites around London, keeping the game box somewhere in every scene we do think that will be great and I will get Rich to edit the footage together.
Excellent news. I hope the meeting with the ECTO 1 owner goes to plan. Do keep us all informed on that one.
Regarding filming; I have made a few fanfilms & am a keen enthusiast when making movies. I know Kaneda on this forum is also a keen movie maker. He’s been studying it. I emailed him with details of a UK GB fanfilm. We are piecing ideas together at present, some of which could be included for this project. I’m sure we’ll all be able to contribute with ideas.
For example: Instead of dancing to the GB theme in Trafalgar Sq, why not do the walking sequence the GB’s did in the Ray Parker Jr music video for GB?
Any idea who owns that giant inflatable Mr. Stay Puft ?

you know tho we should make ourselfs the official GB GBS ( Great Brittish ghostbusters) and everytime theres a promo or GB appearance, rally the troops and be there. i kno you would all want to put Ghostbuster on your C.V lol. i would.
sum1 needs to make a webpage, for us. a place to stick the london promo vid aswell, each have our own little profile, including were we are based, list of our props and stuff. like that.
Well meeting could not do as Milton was called out of office unexpected but have called him and he is well up for doing promo with car plus he will also mention and back up our idea’s to Atari’s promo people so more ideas the better.
I think the game launches on the 29th of June 2009, am I right?
According to my sources 26th. I work for HMV. I could be wrong but that is the date I/we have.
With regard to a website UKGhostbuster89 … I have Webs.com has been shut down: Find out more which is in need of a facelift. I could use the template and create something, perhaps a site promoting the event in London. That being the launch. I could post the website link on GB game related sites, maybe set up a Myspace page. My sister lives/works in London. I could ask her nicely to put flyers up with the web address.
It Wouldn’t be that hard to do the site as you can see it’s more or less done. I can even get a domain if people can chip in. Xmas has wiped me out financially I wouldn’t ask otherwise. Just makes it look abit more pro rather than Freewebs. Let me know on that one.
Whatever happens, this is shaping up to be a fabulous event. I will do everything in my power to promote & assist the launch.

I think the logo’s too far removed from what it represents, I knew it was ‘Great British…’ but I think people not in the know will be hard pressed to work out what it stands for.
The main problem is that it doesn’t contain the word “Ghostbusters” or the conventional no-ghost logo.
