A much more traditional cover than Fall Out Boy’s version. I like this one.
I like it. Although, it’s such a direct cover might as well just use the original. Wish there was a way to use this guys vocals with the instrumentals of the FOB cover.
I liked it but agree that a little variation then a direct cover would have been great. I like the “technoy” bits of the song we’ve gotten from the various trailers but just hated FOB version of it. If the trailer “technoy” version of the song could be used with the voice track here but sped up to track with the music I think that would be great.
Boy was I wrong. Now here’s my stance. I think this version of the theme will be the one with the most similar music video to the original Ray Parker Jr. version. There is still one more cover that hasn’t come out yet, and that one is… The Pentatonix cover 
Well it’s the GB theme. Not that it’s a bad thing, but its pretty much as direct a cover as you can do. So far for me (not including the original theme):

Walk the Moon (It’s hard for me to put this at #2 honestly. I’m not a fan of the FOB cover, and yet as direct as this is, I can’t say any reason to listen to this over the original theme.)

So… Walk the Moon did a cover “Ghostbusters” for the movie…
Why didn’t they just use THIS instead of the Fallout Boy train-wreck?

Not sure what you mean… they’re both on the soundtrack.
I’m sure they’re going to use both (Or all three (Pentatonix) )
I’m wondering if Pentatonix is the one weve5heard bits of information the trailers.
My hot take: this is like a dozen times better than Fall Out Boys’ version. This one will probably go on my iPhone.
Its not bad…certainly better than the FOB version. Though Ive always been more partial to the vomitron cover…minus the guy’s vocals.

It’s not a bad cover. It kind of reminds me of a Ghostbusters cover you might hear on one of those Halloween CDs; not amazing, but definitely a serviceable version.
Im sorry. Normally I don’t hate on things but I felt like Walk The Moons Cover version just sounds like a version for Glee.
