I understand that the prop did have a screw head that was pushed on (but I may be mistaken). My first pack did include a functional button the power cell -it turned on the lights in the power cell. You can see it in this picture:

When I was younger, I had always just assumed that it was something to do with the ion knob or shock mount or what ever we are calling it today…

i did something similar to this also. i have a throw switch mounted below the screwhead/washer bit, nearer to the powercell. i thought the place egon reaches would have been between the top of the power cell and the bottom of the ion arm, but couldn’t mount my switch in that little space without having planned on doing it in my build process.

thats were i plan on putting it in my second pack.
