So I was talking about this funny idea with my friends about the father of the baby in part 2. I think the movie even mention it is Venkman’s…however wouldn’t it be just scandalous if it was really Louis’s kid instead? You know after the whole key master and gate keeper bit. We never see a scene with Venkman and Dana, but we do see a scene with Louis. So what are your thougths gang?
I figured he was fathered by that orchestra guy.
It was totally Louis’s baby… Never mind that the child was 8 months old and Dana and Louis had sex five years prior to that…
Or maybe it IS Venkman’s, they just had a falling out, and she met some guy and got Married and then left just in time for Pete to knock her up again and then have another falling out 8 months prior to Ghostbusters II…

Well, the second movie is 5 years after the first movie…so Oscar wouldn’t be Louis’. There is nowhere in the movie where they suggest Oscar is Peter’s child…though, I ‘believe’ in the commentary of the first movie Harold Ramis suggests that “the stiff” who is with Dana after her orchestral session may be Oscar’s father, though he’s never named and it’s never defined.
