Word Error In The Unseen!

OK,so I searched the forum and could’nt find a topic dealing with this,so if anyone here can prove me wrong,I’m sorry.

Anyway last night I was rewatching my EGB Season 1 Vol 1 DVD released here in the UK & in the episode “The Unseen” I noticed that after the EGB’s are arrested and Roland & Garrett are having their police mug shots taken,Garrett says “So tell me occifer,this bank we robbed I suppose it’s wheelchair accessible” :garrett:

Now is that a massive blunder or what,even the subtitles say “occifer” not “officer”,even back when EGB was airing over here in the UK,I never noticed that,have any other fans noticed this error of any other throughout the EGB series? :eduardo:

Not really a mistake. Its slang here in the US for police. Most of the time I get it from drunks and college kids.

OK,I respect your opinion,I guess for me in the UK,I thought it was a mistake & one other thing why is it that some of the long shots of the Ecto 1 & the EGB’s in action in certain episodes show the no ghost logo without the ghost in it,did the animators forget or was it just sheer laziness,I do’nt recall that mistake ever occuring in RGB! :sigh:

Laziness…and the logo was often deformed or only partially there in rgb especially in the Slimer and the rgb era.

And to further explain occifer it IS US slang and pecificLly is an intentional mispronunciation used to show defiance to and to insult police.
