My pack fits in the trunk - it’s not the most ideal Ecto-concept, but I think it’d be kinda cool and (dare I say) different. I’ve seen pics of actual Ecto conversions far worse than this idea, so…why not? 8)
Could someone humor me and make a photoshop version for me? I’d do it myself but I’m not photoshop-savy.

Ok so granted I have a modern Ecto conversion and an official bumblebee edition camaro so I may be biased but IMO this should not be an Ecto for two reasons…

though it’s been done before in the community a 2 door Ecto has never been done well and not because of the effort, but because it opposes all functionality of the car. Crew, cargo, and equipment space. You need a wagon, suv, or a hearse/ambulance combo.

the modern camaro is already established in both the car and nerd cultures as the modern Transformers Bumblebee…I mean we’re three films deep already, a feat GB has yet to, and hopefully, will not achieve (because at this point it’d suck) so painting what many know as Bumblebee like Ecto-1 would be akin to painting Kitt like the General Lee. They’re both great separate, but making them one is an insult to both.
While I agree to the latter of the statement, I kinda disagree with the opposition of the concept. By that statement a black *Astro van MUST have a red stripe and a red spoiler on it a la the A-Team and thus can never be used as a concept for something else, in this case an Ecto. I wasn’t even thinking about Transformers when I originally posted this thread, nor when I first had the concept - I just thought it’d be a really cool/interesting/different/imaginative/break-from-the-norm idea. So it wouldn’t work as a “real” Ecto, but is there a harm in trying? I don’t even have the funds to MAKE such a thing, and personally I like my Camaro the way she is. All I’m asking for is a conceptual drawing. The **HHR: it’s been done, the Magnum: stale - I like being different hence the Camaro concept. Again, just humor me. Is that too much to ask?
