Any good pics of the alice frame top padding foam?

I know they used pipe foam at the top of the alice frames bound with zip ties., but finding a film pic resource seems to be eluding me.

Did the foam continue under the shoulder strap as well, or did the skip that section, and use two smaller sections?

Anyone else have pics of what they did?

Thats GREAT! Not sure how I missed that one.

I’m seeing what looks like two variations though… one like this, and one with the foam wrapped in gaffer’s tape above the top of the frame itself.

Any idea which is “right”?

The picture is GB2-style. The shiny black foam with a white fabric inner core that sits higher on the pack frame is GB1-style.

Thanks! Since our packs aren’t 100% accurate anyway, I’ll just go with the foam on the frame, since it looks easier to do.

Wonder if any of the new game reference pics show which they went with?
