Dan Aykroyd will be in Charlotte, NC on Friday October 21st for a Crystal Head Vodka signing. He will be at 125 Cherry St, Charlotte, NC from 1pm-3pm.
Unfortunately i will not be able to attend due to my big headed supervisor. I hope someone benefits from this post. please take pics and post them here!

The Carolina and the WNC hostbusters attended the signing yesterday.
“New” (or maybe not so new) policy is that at CH signings, he signs the bottle, and you then go through the store to checkout to pay for it. Security does not allow CH bottles not purchased that way into the store. (They have the regualr and now large bottles as well, $40 and $96 I think.
At Checkout, they also now have the mini heads, but Dan will not sign them because of the size. He will however sign the sawg you bring within reason. Be considerate, because they guy gets swamped.
Afterhe was done signing, (The line closed at 3:15pm or so, and he was done signing at 6pm!) Dan came out, asked for pictures with us all, asked for our business cards, and offered to sign both cars.
In one month, we’ve now gotten both Ernie and Dan’s sigs on both our dash and on our claw machine guys.
This October rocks!

I actually just posted the Horror Weekend ones of Ernie on fb a few minutes ago.. I’d forgotten to post them.
We got kinda star struck, and completely forgot to take our own pics when with Dan.. but there was a pro photographer there, and oficial pics will be avaiable fo us to snag later this week.
Here’s what we got though, and what another person there took.

Oh yeah.. you have to buy a bottle to get sigs now. Considering everything we had signed, its like getts the vodka free, and we didn’t have to pay for an con admission either.
Ernie cost us $20x2 for admission, and then $30
Dan cost us $40 and we got booze out of the deal!
Dan>Ernie, value wise.
Honestly, the guy is promoting selling the vodka, so it only makes sense that you’d need to buy some to get things signed.
Well, that plus the establishments hosting these are bending over backwards to manage things like this. They need to make a few bucks for hosting the autograph sessons.
It really is a much better deal than getting autographs at a con though!

Not cost for the hotel room over a period of days, no cost for the convention.
If your as much a fan of GB as we all are, any price to spend a few moments with original cast and crew is priceless. I mean what wouldn’t you pay for the ability to say “I met Ernie and Dan, those guys are great!”
funny you should ask, i had to decided to stay at my job or go see dan and loose my job, so i would say there is a “price” limit.
Man, Dan was HERE just an hour and a half away from me??? Man… Wouldn’t have been able to go anyway. I work every Friday during those hours and can’t afford to miss.
He was also there on Thursday.
Ha ha, I worked that day until 6PM too
Hey, I was there with my son and got Dan to sign my alice frame! 
At that time I hadn’t got my flightsuit done. 
It was good to see Garee of the WNC and the Carolina Ghostbusters there! Dan was really Great and he made sure everyone got their picture with him and signed what ever you had.
