Dan Aykroyd CHV NJ signing(read if in the Baltimore area)

Hey guys, I’m looking for someone in the Baltimore, MD area that would be interested in driving up to the Crystal Head vodka signing in NJ this weekend. The signing is from 12pm to 2pm at a local Jersey Sam’s club, and I personally plan on leaving VERY early sunday morning. I’ll be driving, just hoping to find someone to help split the gas cost with, and to have a fellow ghost head to hang out with and enjoy the meet and greet. Aside from gas, I believe the only thing you need is money to buy a bottle of Crystal Head for the signing. If anyone at all is interested in going either reply to this or send a PM,

Make sure you go early. We were just at one today that was only oficially announced yesterday, and we still had a 3 hour wait in line.

Dan is very gracious, and will sign pretty much anything you have, so long as you buy a signed bottle of CH.

That said, he was signing like a fiend, and even though the cutoff for the line was at 3pm, he wasn’t done, and didn’t leave until about 6:15!

Any “area” fans/franchises going? I’m undecided, A friend of mine and his brother who are GB fans (and fans of Dan) are supposedly going. They’re not in a franchise though. I haven’t talked to the guys and friends from the NJGBs yet. (the original, “HQ” near Trenton)

Thanks for the info Gareee. Never been to a Dan signing before, if I go I’m not totally sure what to expect.

Ours had only 24 hours advanced noticed and they had a huge line wrapping around he building. We talked to one of Dan’s agents, and he told us at the signing before this, they had twice the number of people in the line, and afterwards Dan was soaking his hand and thumb in ice water all night long.

We figured no one was going to be at ours because

a.) Only one day notice

b.) No advertising other than flyers in the store

c.) Middle of a work day

And it still was packed full.

Christ… I wish I had known earlier before making solid plans for the weekend. This is something that I have to get done when he does it again close by. I should have went.. and now I will probably regret it for a long while. I would have waited any amount of time for a few signatures and to meet an icon..
