Battery packs for power source

Hi,

I am in the UK and think I have seen this on here somewhere before or something like it but can’t find it now, I want to install a RC car battery pack in my pack to power my pack and gun lights may be even to power my sound kit when I get it. I have Exorays pack and gun light kits installed and will be getting his budget sound kit as well.

A guy on here did tell me which battery pack to but like I said I can’t find it now.

Hope you guys can help.

This should work to power up your amp and lights. I used to have an exoray light kit.

Sounds good but how did you connect it up because the connectors are different to whats on the batteries I have in my pack. I have 2 seperate batteries for my exoray lights for the pack and gun lights.

How did you get it it all working off one battery pack?

Each cord coming off the pack is 2 wires. Just cut 'em, use a multimeter to find out which ends are which (positive/negative), and solder a snap-connector onto the end of the thing with another soldered onto the power source wire for your light/sound board.

pretty much ^

you know I thought long and hard on how to get one battery to power the different power needs in the pack…

this was my simplest solution… I simply cut off the tip plug found the +/- wires and then bypassed the plug by opening it and routed the pos and neg wires to my harness in the pack…

and it was dirt cheap using the power of internet search…
