Last night I got back from Chicago after arriving there at noon to meet Mr Dan Aykroyd at 4pm. I was the first person in line. He arrived at 4 n I asked him if he could sign my Ghostbusters car. He said he would after the signing (his agent said he mentioned it a few times when he pulled up n was excited about seein it). At 7:15 the signing ended n he did pics wih jewel osco staff. After that he looked at me with a big smile n asked “I’m signing ur car now, rite?”
Speechless, I nodded while sum of my Gb buddies ran out to get it ready. We blasted the song n hit the lights. As he exited the store, his arms opened up n with an even bigger smile said, “Wow, this looks really good! Great job!” he signed a piece of the dash as a crowd of 50+ people did snapshots. I shook his hand and thanked him. Boy, was it an honor to have him sign my car. Today was a great day!
